- The Allergy Lab is one of the distinguished labs in RIO.
- It was established in year 2000 by Ass. Res. Prof./ Dr. Maha Haggag Head of Microbiology & Immunology Unit in RIO.
- The Allergy Lab provides Treatment of Allergic Conjunctivitis using immunotherapy as eye drops for the first time in Egypt prepared from natural allergenic extracts to which the patients are actually exposed. (Patent No: 2006040138).

It also provides Treatment of Allergic Rhinitis & Allergic Bronchitis using natural allergenic extracts as SC vaccines
Immunotherapy as Eye Drops prepared in RIO Allgery lab for the first time in Egypt
Conventional Immunotherapy by SC injections prepared in RIO Algery lab
